I want you “Cooking at Home”.
 
When you do, you'll be happier and more satisfied.  Studies show that preparing meals and sharing it with those around you has a tremendously positive impact on the wellbeing of everyone involved. You and your family will be healthier, happier, and better adjusted. This means, less stress and less problems. Food experienced in this way has a magical effect that cannot be beat. And it is why I want you cooking "Family Meal" at home 4 to 5 times a week to experience its amazing benefits.
 
 
To be clear, let’s define what "Family Mean" means. First of all it is a group effort—some people are cooking and some are setting the table. When it is time to sit down and eat, everyone should be sitting together, not some people by the TV and others in front of their computer. And if you want music while you eat, it should be background music so that everyone can really talk. Family Meal is as much about talking as it is about eating, and maybe even more so.  And that is why all distractions need to be put away. There's no TV, no electronic games, cell phones, computers, just to name the most common.  If you get a phone call while having dinner let it go to voicemail, or if you must answer the call then tell the person you are having you Family Meal and ask if you can call them back later. And yes, after the eating, Family Meal is also about cleaning up is too, and just about everyone can usually pitch in. 

 

 
Now here's what to expect with Family Meal…Life, and everything that goes with it.  In the end there is no question all this will make for better, stronger people and relationships, but we are also human. So don't expect a picture perfect postcard every time.  But on the most basic level every Family Meal should be about enjoying the food and the people.
 
I come from a pretty big family and when we sit down to eat with all those personalities; there can be a bone to pick (other than the ones in the chicken). And that’s normal. Eating and talking together is still giving you the very best chance that everyone still ends up feeling good by the end of the meal. Somehow great food enjoyed with those we love bring out the best in us all.
